Agreement between User and The Hawaii Admirer

The Hawaii Admirer (“we”, “us”, “our”, “thehawaiiadmirer.com”) is offered to the you (“user”, “your”) conditioned on your acceptance without modifications to the Terms & Conditions contained herein. Please read the Terms & Conditions carefully before you start to use the website. If you do not want to agree to the Terms & Conditions, do not access or use the website.

Commercial Agreements require The Hawaii Admirer to provide an opinion on products and/or services. Even though we receive compensation we will always present an honest opinion, based on the actual experience of the product and/or service.

When content appears as part of a Commercial Agreement The Hawaii Admirer will always let the user know by indicating it is as such. If products and/or services are gifted to The Hawaii Admirer we will always declare this to the user.

Communication Obligations

The Hawaii Admirer encourages you to share, engage, and converse with The Hawaii Admirer on social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest. We respectfully ask you to follow our online community guidelines, as stipulated below.

You will not engage with The Hawaii Admirer using language that is:
• Defamatory or offensive to any person;
• Obscene, offensive, pornographic, vulgar, profane, indecent or otherwise illegal;

• Advertising, promotion or selling of any goods and services or engage in trade and commerce by any means;

We reserve the right to monitor and review your communication and remove any language, at any time and for any reason, in order to keep The Hawaii Admirer appropriate.

Hawaiian Diacritical Markings

The Hawaii Admirer recognizes the proper use of the Hawaiian language including the ‘okina [‘], a consonant, and the kahakō [ō] or macron (e.g., in place names of Hawai‘i such as Lāna’i). However, these have been omitted from The Hawaii Admirer online presence to avoid any font display issues on the user side resulting in misspellings or misrepresentations. Trademarks and business names are respected. The Hawaiian language is a critical part of Hawaii’s Native culture and The Hawaii Admirer uses it’s best effort to properly use and display the language. We realize the importance and continue to use them outside of online platforms.

Modification of Terms & Conditions

We reserve the right to change, at any time, the Terms & Conditions under which website is offered. If we do, we will let you know by revising the date at the top of the policy.
